Entertaiment:
The word entertainment derives from the Medieval Latin intertenere, which means “hold inside.” The prefix inter, meaning “inside,” and the suffix tenere, a variant of the Indo-European root ten, both mean to hold or keep. The word entertainment, however, has a much wider scope than just holding inside; it also includes amusement, relaxation, diversion, or pleasure. This can be in the form of movies, television shows, or music, sports and games, or even reading books.
Entertainment is often based on themes that our minds were evolved to understand deeply. These include social backstabbing, murders and other such topics that are a part of our daily lives.
